As of the 2010 census, Littleton was home to 41,737 people and 17, 313 households. There are over 10,000 families that live in the city. There are children living in 28% of these households and 47.3% married couples. The age of the population according to the census spreads out within the city with 14.2% that are over 65 years, 23.3% under 18 years old, 8.2% from 18 to 24, 30.1% from 25 to 44, and 24.2% from 45 to 64.

There are many places and points of interests in Littleton. The Hudson Gardens is an all-year round botanical garden that was a private garden of Colonel King C. and Evelyn Leigh Hudson. The garden houses many attractions like the Garden Canopy, Herb Garden, Mary Carter Greenway, Iris Bed, Ornamental Grass Garden and the Deciduous Woodland that features the many colors of autumn. The Town Hall Arts Center, in the downtown Littleton, is a theater that has been performing in the area for more than 20 years. It is a local favorite. It features many musicals, comedies and plays. The infamous Alfred Packer is laid to rest in Littleton, Colorado which attracts many tourists and ghost hunters!

Littleton holds a colorful history. One chapter of it that is being upheld until now is the Western Welcome Week. It is a yearly community fest that holds up to 40 events in the greater Littleton area. These events give out to charitable groups and local civic organizations. Another tradition that still very much alive is the Candlelight Walk. It is the whimsical night of the holiday celebrations where trees in Littleton Colorado are lit up with thousands of lights.
